It's officially the first day of spring! While I wish it were warmer, it felt nice to wear a light jacket and not a coat or sweater. I kept the outfit pretty neutral, but with bubble gum pink nails and some heeled booties.

victoria's secret selling norts-like shorts!

I just about flipped when I walked into Victoria's Secret PINK and saw their new athletic shorts - I was so excited I took a picture of them on my phone!

A PINK version of my favorite Nike shorts?? I had to try them on. I tried on the grey/black ones in a size small (the same size as my Nike ones) and they seemed just a smidge bigger and longer:

I was pressed with time, so I didn't try on a smaller size. I didn't get the shorts this time, but might go back and see if the smaller size fits better! I did, however, get these new cropped leggings:

The colors are brighter in person, my phone didn't do the best job of capturing that... There are plenty of new options with different patterned bands though.

bikinis!

One of my favorite things about spring/summer shopping is swimsuits! My favorite style is currently the bandeau. It is flattering on so many different body types! Below are three cute bandeau swimsuits I'm loving.

I love this flag bikini. Very patriotic and would be great for Memorial Day Weekend coming up! The Anthropologie swimsuit in the middle is another favorite of mine - it's so pretty and I love all the colors on the bottom. On the right is an adorable Betsey Johnson swimsuit. Betsey Johnson is going out of business (tear), but pick up a swimsuit now on sale before it's gone for good! I have two Betsey Johnson swimsuits that I adore - the quality is great and there are so many cute details.

PINK backpack

Didn't realize someone was watching The Princess Diaries on the TV behind me till I saw this photo, ha!

I got this PINK backpack last weekend! Yes, it's from Victoria's Secret PINK, but the color isn't just pink - it's PINK! When I saw the bright pink color I knew I just had to get it. Pink is one of my favorite colors. Are you getting sick of how many times I've used "pink" so far in this post?!

Okay, I'll try to tone it down.

 I love the brightness of the neon color and plan on wearing it a lot this summer. It is fun bag to take to the lake and other casual summer activities. It's probably a little too dressed-down to wear with the heels (I didn't wear it out that night), but it works with so many other outfits! I even wore it to class because it is tall enough to fit my books.
