The Weekly Ten

1. Europe. Enough said.
2. Pensione lunches four days a week - always looking forward to pasta and chicken after class.
3. Castles - real, traditional castles with watch towers and a dungeon and a big dining room. Yes, I'm talking about the Blarney Castle in Cork, Ireland!
4. Saw an American tabloid - apparently Taylor Swift is dating the blonde kid from Glee? Cute!
5. Still haven't found pure, Nutella gelato. I had the best Nutella gelato in Rome, and I haven't found one without coffee/yougurt/mousse/etc mixed in since then. I'm gonna go nuts! It was that good and I need to find some before I leave.
6. Free water, wine, bread, Limoncello, and hats at the restaurant we went to for dinner tonight.
7. So You Think You Can Dance withdrawals. I know the season started and I cannot wait to watch it when I get back! A friend at GIF is friends with this awesome dancer who made it to Vegas for the show...dancers: if you haven't watched her audition already, you need to do so now.
8. I miss dance! Can't wait to get back into the swing of things. Finally stretched today after a run and it was so refreshing.
9. Anyone else watch the season finale of Gossip Girl? I was able to watch it here and...the whole Chuck/Blair/prince thing...what do you think about that situation?!
10. So excited for London this weekend...and to go to the real Topshop!

The Weekly Ten

1. This is my first Weekly Ten is SO long - I apologize for my huge blogging dry spell to anyone who reads this (if anyone actually regularly comes here). Things have gotten crazy busy but I still want to make time to write.
2. Speaking of busy, I only got four hours of sleep last night. So tired right now! It is only the first day of finals week and I am getting drained quick.
3. In more uplifting news, I am going to Italy in only eight days! I'm super excited but a little nervous...
4. Anyone else obsessed with Lookbook as much as me? I love it. I've been looking at street style from different cities in Italy to get the feel for how people will dress when I go there.
5. Got my first sunburn of the season yesterday - it was in the 60s and sunny, so naturally, I, like all the Washington kids, laid outside in shorts and flip flops to celebrate the first time we've seen the sun. My skin did not appreciate it, but my future tan after might.
6. This is probably true about college clothing trends - I don't really see much Vera Bradley and Longchamp at my campus, but I am definitely a proud culprit of the Tory Burch flats.
7. Greek yogurt - filled with protein and delicious. And pretty portable for the most part. It's a win-win-win situation.
8. Going to Safeway soon to stock up on 1/2 priced Easter candy. Still the same great taste and 1/2 off? That's one deal I'm a sucker for.
9. I was eating a Cadbury cream egg while I wrote #8. Haha. I went to the gym today, I deserve it, right?
10. When it comes to finals study tips, this girl has got it down. I have found that being organized is key to studying. Speaking of, I should probably go resume my final paper...

The Weekly Ten

1. I completely slipped on the tiniest muddy hill today. On my butt. In the middle of campus. At least no one saw (I did a complete wide-eyed-spin-around-walking-backward deal, which would've made it way more obvious if there were witnesses). My clothes were caked in grassy mud! Ew. On the bright side, it all came out when I immediately washed the clothes and now they're fresh and clean. Phew.
2. Dave's Killer Bread. (Yes, that's the name of it). It's great bread, and also has the USDA Organic label - another plus! One slice folded over with PB (the "universal acronym for peanut butter," according to my nutrition professor) is a great snack.
3. I just learned that Helvetica, the typing font, comes from the Latin word for Switzerland (Helvetia.) How do I know this? We watched the super exciting feature film based solely on the font Helvetica in journalism class today. The first 20 minutes were interesting, then I almost couldn't keep my eyes open.
4. PR Couture posted a great interview about getting an internship with public relations in the fashion world.
5. I'm going to study abroad in Italy this summer and signed up to go to London on one of the weekends and the Amalfi Coast/Capri on another. I'm SO excited.
6. I updated my Flickr account with more photos - they aren't very new, but I liked them :)
7. I got a $4 case on Amazon for my BlackBerry, and to be honest, it has lasted way longer than my original $35 BlackBerry case - kind of ironic...
8. Last Friday, Forever 21 donated 100% of all its online sales to the American Red Cross in order to help Japan. Even though it's over, that was a great thing for them to do.
9. We have a bye in pickleball this week. Dang. I want to play.
10. I usually don't have drinks other than water (other than the occasional diet coke or chocolate milk), but I like this little concoction I made - tangerine flavored club soda, cranberry juice, and an orange slice. It's a pretty color, looks tropical, and gives me just a little dose of summer.
